The Community - Travis Academy

Vision of the school
Starting a school was no easy task. The fears were overwhelming and the what ifs kept me awake at night. Once I came to the realization that God was just God, I decided to "just do it'. I stepped out on faith and I did it. God was with me!

Travis Academy opened its doors on December 2, 1996 as a private school for boys.

Mission:
The education of urban children who experience difficulties in a regular educational setting.

Staff:
I founded Travis Academy in 1996 with one teacher and one student. Today, I have a staff of 38 and 298 students

Location:
Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the downtown area.
